Experienced CNC Machinist for Tough Jobs

I’m Ron Bahling the Owner of J&R Precision in Tempe, AZ.

I began machining at 18, working in various aerospace shops for a few years before settling at a high-end tool and gauge shop in Tempe, running prototypes and gage tooling on CNC mills.

After 12 years, I decided to start my own small shop in Gilbert. I owned Absolute Machine Inc. from 1998 to 2006, managing a 6-8 man job shop. In 2006, I sold my machines to a customer and colleague and continued to manage daily shop operations.

I spent 2 years as a machine shop leader at WL Gore in Flagstaff, AZ. During this time, I worked with machine builders, electricians, and toolmakers.

In 2018, I joined Assa Abloy and set up a prototype CNC lab, supporting NPD and manufacturing engineers.

In 2023, I launched J&R Precision with my wife Jennifer, who assists with bookkeeping and provides invaluable moral support.
